Kampala Amateur Volleyball Club (KAVC) has finished fourteenth at the 2018 African Club Championship after falling to Bafia 3-2 (25-19, 19-25, 25-27, 25-17, 15-9).

KAVC defeated Seychelles side Swimbluepal while Bafia defeated the other Ugandan side Nemostars to set up the clash.

The Cameroonians took the opening set 25-19 but the Ugandan side recovered to win the next set 25-19 and edged ahead after taking the third set 27-25.

Bafia were too strong for KAVC in the fourth set and took the game to a tie breaker which they won to take 13th place as the Ugandans settled for 14th.

Meanwhile, Nemostars face Swimbluepal in the playoff for positions 15-16 later today.
