Khalid Aucho earned his debut as East Bengal defeated Mumbai City 2-1 in the 2018 Super Cup Round of 16 game played at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneshwar on Thursday.
Cameroonian forward Achille Emana gave Mumbai City the lead in the 22nd minute but it only lasted for four minutes as Katsumi Yusa found the equaliser with a header off Peter Lobo’s cross for the Kolkata based side to go into the break all square.
Mahmoud Al Amna scored the winning goal for the I-League outfit in the 73rd minute to advance to the quarterfinal.

Subash Bhowmick-Khalid Jamil took charge of his first game at East Bengal and handed Ugandan international Khalid Aucho his debut.
East Bengal will face Aizawl FC in the quarter finals.
