Bernard Muwanga has revealed that log leaders SC Villa are calm and determined as the title run in draws closer.

With 7-8 games till end of season, the Jogoos hold the grip at the top and to many pundits; they are now favourites for the premier league title.

Time is running out for Wasswa Bbosa’s men as they chase their first title since 2004, but Muwanga insists the Jogoos will not wilt under the pressure.

“It is very clear in our minds,” Muwanga told Kawowo Sports. “Every day, we know everything is about – carry on and don’t think too much,” he added.

Whatever will happen, we try to just be focused on ourselves, that’s the key; don’t think too much about what is going on around us and all the words around the team.

Muwanga, former Captain at Bright Stars also highlighted that every game is like a Cup final for the game but says wins over Onduparaka and Police point to something.

There are still seven games, we know the opposition and it’s very positive. Our games against Ondu and Police were positive in terms of results, so we just need to carry on. They are good signs since these are tough sides.

SC Villa’s next game is a potential title decider against third placed Vipers, a side they lost to in the first round.
