Wakiso District girls football championships 2018
Semi-finals:
- Riness S.S 0 (4) – 0 (5) Wakiso Hill S.S
- St Noa S.S 1-0 Taggy High School, Entebbe
Giants St Noa Secondary school will face Wakiso Hill school in the 2018 girls football final for Wakiso District.
The development follows successful completion of the quarter and semi-finals on Friday at the Champions stadium in Mwererwe.
Aisha Nantongo scored the lone strike for St Noa in their 1-0 semi final win against Entebbe based Taggy High school in a repeat of the 2017 final.
Taggy’s captain Lillian Mutunzo was a victim of suspect finishing earlier in the first half.
In the second semi-final, Wakiso Hills overcame Riness High School 4-5 in post-match penalties after normal time had failed to produce any goals.
The finals will be played on Sunday, 15th April 2018 at Wakiso Resource center.
On the same day, the boy’s football final between St Mary’s Kitende and Buddo S.S will also lock horns.
