Tornado mean business this season and they made it back to back wins after they defeated Partidar by 158 runs in Budo.

Tornado followed up their opening season win against Budo Cricket Club with a comprehensive win against a stronger side in Patidar.

Patidar recruited most of the Division 2 winning players from Premier but they were unable to overcome a determined Tornado side that batted well to post a commanding 279 all out. Captain Brain Adriko (52) led from the front with a half century with support from Cyrus Kakuru (61) offering support.

In the chase, off spinner Maxwell Torach (4/29) and fast bowler Cosmas Kyewuta (3/25) tore through the Patidar batting line up to deem them to a 158 run loss.

The win moves Tornado to the summit of Division 2 with a 100% percentage win record in their opening 2 games.

In Entebbe, the new look Nile side will need more than 14 games to get used to playing together. Team Manager Alvin Bagaya has put together a very decent side but most are playing in the league for the first time.

They met a seasoned SKLPS side that broke no sweat in finishing them off. SKLPS set a modest 167/9 and Man of Match Yogesh ensured that the match ends early picking 6/22 with Nile bowled out for 42.

The young boys will take some confidence from the game as they look forward to a very long season ahead.

The win gives SKLPS their 1st win of the campaign after they lost their opening game to ACC in Jinja.
