Avengers failed to live up to the hype of defeating Wanderers last weekend after they were torn to shreds by ACC in Jinja.
Collins Okwalinga was the star performer with the ball for ACC as his 6 wickets helped his side bundle out Avengers for only 60.
The only consolation for Avengers was the one wicket they picked with ACC chasing the small total for the loss of one wicket. Daniel Batuwa (27) and Aggrey Kintu (25) ensured there was no more damage done by the Avengers bowlers.
ACC has only made a perfect start to the season winning their first two games while Avengers suffered their first loss of the season.
On Saturday, Soroti Blazers defeated Nyakasura by 11 runs with Ivan Kakande the stand out performer. The captain led from the front with a half century and picked 2 important wickets in the rain affected game.
The overnight down pour reduced the 40 over game to a 20 over encounter with the blazers from Soroti scoring 128/7 but the school boys from Nyakasura were in the game till the last over only falling short by 11 runs.
The Blazers are now firmly on top of the Division 3 table with two wins and it till take something to defeat them as the season progresses.
