Maroons Football Club play maker Pius “TZ Iniesta” Obuya is itching for maximum points in their away Uganda Premier League duel to Jinja based BUL F.C at the Kakindu stadium on Tuesday.

The former Uganda U-17 star player is enthusiastic they will work for the three points at a time they have been embedded in stalemates.

We have to raise our game. We need a win away and everyone is well aware of the mission.

Christened as the draw masters, Maroons have attained the most number of draws, 17, in the entire league.

The latest draw was that one all result with relegation fighting Express at the Luzira Prisons stadium on Friday.

Expected Key players and battles:

Goalkeeper Ashadu Bugembe, a target for BUL in the yesteryears has the opportune time to prove that he was worth the brand being sought for by the Eastern giants back in the days.

Bugembe will come under close scrutiny at a time he will be attacked by league debutant Douglas Owori, fast paced James Otim, Hamis “Diego” Tibita and the veteran center forward Patrick Crespo Asiku (if fielded).

It will be a fully busy midfield battle on the evening in Jinja when Patrick Sembuya and Yunus Sibira combine forces to thwart Maroons’ Solomon Walusimbi, Emmanuel ‘Song’ Olinga, the crafty Obuya and Abdallah Ssenyonga.

The BUL backline has the experienced legs of Yusuf Mukisa, Umar Mukobe, Abu Mayanja, left back Hakim Magombe and his understudy Faizo Muledhu with another veteran Musa Walangira in the waiting.

The return of Kefa Kisala on the BUL technical bench before home fans is expected to ignite fire power for the Jinja side.

Ronald Orombi and Allan Anguyo are ruled for suspension and injury respectively.
