- SC Villa 2-0 Kirinya-Jinja SS

With just four matches to the end of the 2017-18 Uganda Premier League season, the title is far from decided as defending Champions KCCA, SC Villa and table leaders Vipers all have a chance of claiming glory.
SC Villa ensured they remain in contetion for winning the long awaited seventeenth league title with a 2-0 win over Kirinya-Jinja SS on Wednesday.

Allan Kyambadde beat Kirinya-Jinja SS offside trap on the right racing towards goal before squaring the ball to an unmarked Kizza, but the club’s leading scorer opted to control the ball the ball instead of tapping-in.
However, it was not long before SC Villa doubled their their lead. Kyambadde broke on the left and fired a ground shot that Kirinya’s goalkeeper Didi Muhammad punched right into George Ssenkaba’s path and the forward tapped in the easiest of rebounds.

Paul Mukatabala sent Simon Sserunkuma, Vitalis Tabu and Yubu Bogere on for Ambrose Kirya, Allan Kyambadde and Martin Kizza respectively but the host could not add to their first half goals.
