Uganda Premier League (UPL) secretariat has communicated key changes in fixtures at the final bend of the 2017/18 season.

Kirinya_Jinja S.S XI will host Vipers this coming Tuesday K-Jinja S.S Media

According to communication by the UPL Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Bernard Bainamani Bampaire, the changes have been effected because of the Uganda national U-20 team match with Cameroon and the 2018 CECAFA beach soccer championship.

The communique released is addressed to the media, club officials, referees and the FUFA Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Edgar Watson.

KCCA’s home game against Proline in the Lugogo derby has been shifted from Saturday, 12th May 2018 to Tuesday 8th May 2018 because of Uganda Hippos’s versus Cameroon game.

Similarly, Kirinya-Jinja S.S will host Vipers at the Kyabazinga Stadium, Jinja on the same day.

Also UPDF versus Soana at Bombo and Maroons with Police that were supposed to be played on 12th May 2018 were transferred to Friday, 11th May 2018.

Because of the CECAFA beach soccer championship that kicks off on 26th May 2018, the Proline versus SC Villa Jogoo and Vipers with Express have been brought forward to 22nd May 2018 at the same time.

All the eight final match day games that wind up the season on Saturday, 26th May 2018 will be played on Friday, 25th May 2018.

  • Match 231: KCCA Vs Proline – Star Times Stadium, Lugogo
  • Match 232: Kirinya-Jinja S.S Vs Vipers – Kyabazinga Stadium – Bugembe, Jinja

Friday, 11th May 2018

  • Match 229: UPDF Vs Soana – Bombo Military Stadium (4:30 pm)
  • Match 230: Maroons Vs Police – Prisons Stadium, Luzira (4:30 pm)

Tuesday, 22nd May 2018:

  • Match 167: Proline Vs SC Villa Jogoo – Star Times Stadium, Lugogo (4:00 pm)
  • Match 169: Vipers Vs Express – St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende (4 :00pm)
