
The Confederation of African Football (Caf) has moved the Horoya Vs Mamelodi Sundowns CAF Champions League game to allow the South African side face European giants Barcelona in a friendly.
Sundowns, home to Uganda Cranes goalie Denis Onyango will host the Spanish champions on Tuesday 15, the same day they had to face the Guinea side in Conakry.
But Caf has now moved the Caf Champions League tie to May 22 after the two teams had cordial agreement.
“Following a cordial agreement between the two clubs, the Group C Match Day Two clash between Horoya (Guinea) and Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa) has been rescheduled for Tuesday, 22 May 2018 at the Stade 28 Septembre at 16H00 GMT in Conakry, Guinea….,” read part of the statement issued by Caf.
The match was originally fixed for Tuesday, 15 May 2018 at the same venue, but was postponed at the request of Mamelodi Sundowns.
Meanwhile, the other Group C match between Wydad Athletic Club (Morocco) vs AS Togo Port (Togo) will take place on Tuesday, 15 May 2018, at the Mohammed V Complex in Casablanca at 19H00 GMT.
Sundowns are former African Champions and the reigning PSL champions.
