Despite dropping two points against Kirinya Jinja SS, Miguel Da Costa was pleased to a pick a point on the road.

The Venoms salvaged a point after getting behind through Ismail Kawawulo early strike but Moses Waiswa responded with a fine strike in the second half.

“It was a very tough match with a very tough team,” said Vipers coach Miguel da Costa, “Concerning the team, the pitch and everything I am satisfied.”

Meanwhile, Kirinya Jinja SS coach Charles Ayiekoh was delighted with the officiating on the day after complaints in the previous games.

Kirinya’s Ayiekoh was also happy with his boys and officiating. “Today I got a fair referee compared to what I’ve been getting over the last five games.”

If KCCA win their game in hand, they will be just two points behind leaders Vipers who are now on top with 59 points with two games to go.
