KICC Captain Hanumant Katkar will be a happy man as his spin duo of Irfan Afridi and Frank Nsubuga will be back when he takes on Kutchi Tigers on Sunday.
The duo were instrumental in Uganda winning the Division 4 WCL title in Malaysia, bowling very tidy spells opening the bowling with both picking 3 of the 5 Man of Match awards for Uganda.
In their absence, KICC were beaten by Strikers and cannot afford another loss if they are to stay in hunt for the title.
Their opponents on Sunday, Kutchi Tigers are confident after defeating Challengers last weekend.
Kutchi Tigers have been party spoilers since joining the top flight and they know how to deal with big egos.
Alpesh Hirani leads a group of journey men who know how to play very tidy cricket. They are always up for competition and if KICC does not bring its A game, they will be beaten.
In Kyambogo, defending champions Aziz Damani will take on Division 2 champions Premier.
The Champions had a not so convincing opening game win against a determined Strikers but they made up for that with a dominant 5 wicket win over Kutchi Tigers.
Premier might have to wait another weekend for their first win in the top flight because Damani at full power will be too strong for them.
Damani will have 6 players returning from the championship winning side in Malaysia.
In defence of their title, they have won two out of two so far.
