Damani scored the highest total of season so far scoring 338 runs against a helpless Premier side.

The Division 1 newcomers will have to wait another weekend before they can taste victory in the top flight.

Damani won the toss and chose to bat first and on a flat Kyambogo track they piled on the runs from the onset. A second wicket partnership between centurion Saud Islam (102) and Emmanuel Hasahya (91) built a solid platform for the middle order to come out blazing as Damani scored a mammoth 338.

With the threat of rain looming in the afternoon, Damani skipper Ghulam Hunzai tossed the ball to his spinners and Henry Ssenyondo (8/32) claimed eight of the 10 Premier wickets with Brian Masaba and Saud Islam picking the other two wickets.

The defending champions have a perfect record so far winning all their 3 games thus far, while their competition remain inconsistent Damani look like they will retain their title.

In Entebbe, Roger Mukasa inspired Tornado Bee to their second win of the season with a man of match performance.

The four-time league winners defeated Ceylon Lions by 91 runs at the lake side oval.

Even if he scored an average 37, Mukasa was able to roll over his arm picking up 3 key wickets as they defeated the inconsistent Ceylon Lions.

The Ceylon Lions have now lost 2 games with their lone win against KICC taken away due to unregistered players.

Tornado Bee can now focus on catching Damani despite having a bleep last weekend when they lost to KICC.
