Lesotho Likuena national head coach Moses Maliehe says his charges still have a realistic chance of qualification to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals in Cameroon.

Maliehe disclosed to Kawowo Sports that the Likuena (the Crocodiles) can still qualify to the Total Africa Cup of Nations in 2019 that will be hosted in Cameroon despite not picking a win in the four matches played so far;

Yes. Mathematically, we still have a chance to qualify to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournament. This is only if we win two of our remaining games and pray the other results go in our favour.

Lesotho Likuena suffered two back to back losses at the hands of Uganda Cranes, falling 3-0 away and 2-0 away.

Maliehe, a former Lesotho U-20 head coach admits Uganda was the better side over the two legs and will definitely pick crucial lessons from the two losses.

Uganda Cranes were the better side in Kampala and Maseru. But, the focus remains we shall learn from the mistakes conducted when we host Tanzania and play Cape Verde away in the final games.

Lesotho technical bench rung some changes from the side that lost 3-0 in Kampala when they took on the Cranes at their Setsoto stadium in Maseru.

Goalkeeper Likano Mputhi replaced Mohau Kuenane who had started in Kampala and first choice left back Sello Bokang, suspended for the first leg took over at the left wing back of the Crocodiles.
