Apai Ukuno has resigned at Moreland City Football Club

South Sudanese international striker Apai Ukuno has resigned with Australian Moreland City Football Club for another year.

The Melbourne based club confirmed the development with a statement;

Moreland City  Football Club is delighted to announce the re-signing of Apai Ukuno for season 2019.

The lanky center forward who was the NPL 2 golden boot winner in 2018 with 19 goals expressed delight upon re-signing for the Campbell Reserve where he will be marking his fourth season.

I was always confident of agreeing terms with Moreland City Football Club. I feel I am a part of the Club, and the club is a big part of me. We are like family and although we experienced the heart break of our recent promotion play-off game, I believe that this is a great platform for success. As a player you take responsibility for outcomes and work hard to get things right. Personally, I hope to score more goals this season. I also want to contribute my own development and football journey. The club have spoken to me about their intentions, and this is something I really want to contribute toward. Along with Key and Corey, we have a combined 12 seasons at the Club between us and together we have unfinished business.
