Wakiso Giants Football Club outwitted Bukedea Town Council at the Emokori play-ground 1-0 in of the Elgon group gamesof the Star Times FUFA Big League on Thursday.

Daff Luboobi netted the priceless goal in the 25th minute of the game to give Ibrahim Kirya and his charges his second win of the season.
This was the first game for Bukedea minus their former head coach Bashir “Bassey” Kalungi.
Wakiso Giants now leads the Elgon group with 8 points after two draws and wins apiece.
UPDF defeated Jinja Municipal Council (JMC) Hippos 2-1 with Amos Muwonge and Sydney Ssenyonga on target for Steven Bogere’s coached side.

Kataka and Kyetume shared the spoils in a foul goal stalemate at the CRO San Siro stadium in Mbale.
Nasur Nandala and Jacob Okuwa netted the goals for Kataka.
Denis Lubowa and Emmanuel Obitre replied for Kyetume.
The Arua derby between Doves Al lStars and Nebbi Central ended goal-less at the Green Light Stadium, Arua.
In the Rwenzori group, Kitara out-muscled Water 2-0 at the Muteesa II Wankulukuku Stadium.

Kira United suffered a 1-0 loss to Ntinda United at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.
Vincent Lukwago scored the lone strike in the third minute of the game and defended gallantly.
New comers Kiboga Young and Kansai Plascon shared the spoils at the Bamusuuta play ground in Kiboga.
Former Masavu and Ntinda United striker Robert Sentongo Junior gave Kansai Plascon the lead on 47 minutes.
Peter Romelu replied for Kiboga Young in the 65th minute.


In other games, Dove recovered from a two-goal deficit to share a point with ten-man Kireka United in a two all draw.
Kabale Sharp overcame Bumate United 1-0 at the Christ High school play-ground in Bundibugyo.
