Uganda will host the 2019 Beach Woodball World Cup.

This followed a successful bidding procedure during the International Woodball Federation General Assembly.

All the national federations supported Uganda to host the 2nd Beach Woodball World Cup.

Team Uganda delegation in Taiwan

Uganda Woodball Federation general secretary Collins Ssemanda presented Uganda’s bidding presence of 21 countries.

The Beach Woodball World Cup will be held between 25th to 31st  2018 along the shores of Lake Victoria at Spennah Beach.

Meanwhile, team Uganda settled for silver at the 23rd International Taiwan Woodball Open.

Watson Mugume reached the finals of the fairway Competition. He defeated Chinese Taipei’s Wang Yen Po to reach the Finals.

Sadly, he lost 2-5 to Hou Yi-Cheng scoop a silver medal.
