Following a fifth successive draw in which URA failed to score, Sam Ssimbwa referred to his team as ‘dogs that one can’t milk’.
The four time champions settled for a goalless draw at home to Tooro United on Tuesday in a game surely no team deserved to win going by the display.
“You can’t milk dogs,” said Ssimbwa in a post-match press briefing.
Ssimbwa whose side have drawn seven in nine games also believes some draws were prompted by referees, but others by the team.
“We were denied a penalty today just like it was against SC Villa,” he said. “But there are other games in which we missed penalties late in the games against Nyamityobora and Police,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Ssimbwa praised his side for playing as a unit defensively a fact that has seen them concede just once this season.
“The way we play is the reason we don’t concede but not particularly having very good defenders.
Ssimbwa and URA visit Mbarara City on Saturday seeking to put a halt to a winless run.
