Former Uganda Cranes coach Mulitin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic guided Orlando Pirates back to the Caf Champions League group stages with a win over Namibia’s African Stars.

The Buccaneers won 1-0 away in Windhoek to progress 1-0 on aggregate after the two teams drew goalless in the first leg in South Africa.

Zambian Shonga was the hero for the Sea Robbers scoring the only goal of the game in the second half.

Pirates join Mamelodi Sundowns, fellow South Africans who clobbered Libya’s Al Ahly Benghazi 4-0 on aggregate following a goalless draw in the first leg.

Elsewhere, Gor Mahia conceded twice in the last twenty minutes to bow out on away goals rule after losing 2-0 to Nigeria’s Lobi Stars.

The Kenyan side had won 3-1 at home in the first leg and now join the Caf Confederation Cup.

Former African champions TP Mazembe drew 1-1 away to Zesco United to advance 2-1 on aggregate while CS Constantine won 2-0 away to Vipers SC to qualify for the group stages 3-0 on aggregate.

The qualified teams on Saturday join champions Esperance of Tunisia who got a bye to the group stages.
