The 45th edition of the Uganda Cup round of 64 ties continue on Sunday, 23rd December 2018 with 23 matches on the menu.

This follows the first set of matches played on Friday when Sports Club Villa overcame Lugazi Municipal 4-1 at Namboole, Mbarara City edged Maroons 4-3 in post-match penalties after a goal-less draw and Water picked a walk over following the no show act by Saviour FC.

The battle of two top flight sides Paidha Black Angels and Express at the Green Light Stadium in Arua will headline the Sunday matches.

Paidha Black Angels has lately struggled for form in the domestic league but would wish to make the Uganda Cup tournament count for something as reflected by their head coach, Muhammed Kisekka.

We want to display the best football and perform well. Since we lost to KCCA, we travelled back safely and have been eyeing this match against Express in the knock out cup.

Kisekka has skipper Cromwel Rwothomio, Ceaser Olega, goalkeeper John Kalumba, Jackson Nsubuga, Sula Ssekamwa, Andrew Kidega, Julius Malingumu among others for the much needed inspiration.

Kefa Kisala’s Express made the long trip to Arua and will take the match as serious as ever since they are also targeting some silverware at the end of the season.
