Paul Mukatabala and Edward Kalungi were recruited as FUFA Staff working as national teams’ officer and Estates manager respectively. They are employed full time.
By virtue of the fact that the duo former Uganda Cranes players have been delegates, representing the players’ association in the FUFA August house, they have to officially resign their positions.
Mukatabala will work alongside another former player Patrick Ntege in the office of national teams that has six national sides – Uganda Cranes (Senior team men), Uganda Crested Cranes (Senior team women), Uganda Kobs (U-23), Uganda Hippos (U-20), Uganda Cubs (U-17) and Uganda national U-20 women team.
Kalungi’s work entails management and overseeing all the federation properties, assets and fittings at FUFA House in Mengo, Kadiba, FUFA Technical Center and at Lugazi.
