Maroons came from a goal down to beat Ndejje University 3-2 in a thrilling league encounter played at Arena of Visions in Bombo.

Ronald Orombi, Samson Mutyaba and Seif Batte scored for the visitors to turn Noel Nasasira brace into consolation.

Nasasira put the Ndu Lions in the lead in the 23rd minute but the lead lasted just a dozen minutes as Orombi equalised for the Prison side.

Mutyaba scored the second for George Best Nsimbe side two minutes to the break before Batte put the icing on the cake twenty minutes to the final whistle.

Nasasira ensured there was a tense finish with a goal in the 89th minute but it was too little too late as Maroons held on for a win that takes their tally to 13 points in 13th position on the 16-team table.

Ndejje University stay in the red zone with 8 points in 13 games.
