Wakiso Giants maintained their unbeaten run in the Elgon group of the FUFA Big League with a hard fought 2-1 away victory over former Uganda Premier League side, Entebbe Football Club at the Mutesa II Wankulukuku Stadium on Thursday.

Entebbe took the lead through a well drilled header by towering midfielder Solomon Wafula as early as the 13th minute of the game.

Wafula rose highest to nod home Brunno Sserunkuma’s inviting corner past former Lweza and Masavu goalkeeper Mansoor Mutumba.

Wakiso Giants found the equalizing goal in a rare shocking albeit fashionable manner.
