The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) Big League returns on Saturday, 5th January 2019 with two matches.

Sixth placed Amuka Bright Stars play host to Mbale’s Kataka FC in Lira.

Kataka FC has struggled with form this term as they are 8th with eight points.

New comers Nebbi Central will entertain Bukedea Town Council in Nebbi in a battle of two wounded sides.

Nebbi Central’s last game was that 1-0 loss at home to Alex Isabirye’s Kyetume on Thursday in a game Ibrahim Kazindula scored the lone strike.

Bukedea Town Council suffered a 5-1 humiliation away to Doves All Stars at the Green Light Stadium, Arua.

Nebbi Central is second from bottom with 7 points and Bukedea Town Council is a point better with 9 points.

Two clubs are promoted directly from each of the two group – Elgon and Rwenzori whilst the third is determined via a promotional play off.
