2018/19 Stanbic Uganda Cup (Round of 32):
Tuesday, 15th January 2019:
Vipers Vs Kansai Plascon
At St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende (4 PM)
The Stanbic Uganda Cup 2018/19 round of 32 continues with one game on Tuesday, 15 January 2019 as 2015/16 winners host FUFA Big League outfit Kansai Plascon at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
Losing finalists last season to KCCA, the venoms are out to progress to the next stage (round of 16).
Vipers got a walk over at the round of 64 since Rushekere growers skipped their trip to Kitende whilst Kansai Plascon edged Ndejje University 1-0 away at the Vision of Arena stadium in Luweero.
Michael Nam Ouma and Edward Golola’s coached Vipers will use the game as an optimal warm up game before traveling to the CAF Confederation Cup play-off match away to CS Sfaxien in Tunis on Sunday.
They are therefore expected to field a strong side with the likes of Abraham Ndugwa, Davis Kasirye, Tito Okello, Dan Muzeyi Sserunkuma, Moses Waiswa, Tadeo Lwanga, goalkeeper Fabien Mutombora and the utility Geofrey Wasswa all expected to play.

Kansai Plascon has two proven center forwards in Robert Ssentongo Junior and Henry Kitengenyi, who have a combined 10 goals in the FUFA Big league.
In absence of Allan Oreyk and Jamal Sijali, who are both injured, the Painters may struggle a little bit for creativity.

The other matches at this same stage will be played on Wednesday.
Top Bet Mbarara City travels to BUL at the FUFA Technical center, Njeru.
KCCA FC is the reigning cup holder of the championship that has been played since 1971.
The winner of the Stanbic Uganda Cup earns a direct ticket to represent the country in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Other round of 32 results:
Kyetume 6-1 St. Stephen
Bumate United 1 (3) – 1 (5) Bright Stars
