Proline Football Club reclaimed the Rwenzori group summit with a smart 3-0 win over Ntinda United in the FUFA Big League at StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo on
Shafik Bisaso’s charges were ruthless on the evening, being denied by the opener as early as the 15th minute when Joseph Mandela chested home at the back post but the effort was disallowed for a suspected handball.
They did finally find the back of the net when Ivan Bogere had a sublime finish after 32 minutes for the opening half to end in favour of the Proline.
Second half substitute Ibrahim Wamanah, who had moments earlier replaced Isma Kabugu tapped home the second with 10 minutes left on the clock.

Bright Anukani’s curl past goalkeeper Joseph Kigozi on 87 minutes epitomized the evening for Proline’s victory with three points in the bag as they also displaced Kansai Plascon.
Proline now has 26 points, one better than Kiboga Younga who humbled visiting Bumate United 6-0 at the Bamusuuta High school playground in Kiboga.
Kiboga Young scored through Jamir Nvule (2), Peter Lomolo (2) as well as a goal apiece from Moses Wafula Makoyani and Kizito Zakayo.
Kansai Plascon has 24 points after they won 2-1 over Water at their Mukono Bishops fortress on Wednesday.

Elsewhere, Kabale Sharp edged visiting Kira United 1-0 to keep pace of the leading pack as the competition for the direct qualification and playoff slots intensifies.

Meanwhile, in the Elgon group, Wakiso Giants remain unbeaten thus far with yet another commanding display in the 2-0 win over JMC Hippos at the Kyabazinga Stadium.
Bukedea Town Council piped Mbale based Kataka 1-0, Arua based Doves All Stars overcame UPDF 1-0 in Bombo while the Light S.S encounter with former top flight side Entebbe ended goal-less.

We tried our best in the match against Proline. Unfortunately, we did not get the desired result. A quick change of venue from Wankulukuku to Lugogo could have suited our opponents who are used to the artificial playing turf. We shall recollect ourselves
Christopher Lobbo, Ntinda United FC Head coach

I am happy and impressed by the performance against Ntinda. The result would have improved if we were clinical. Going back to the top of the table standings is an added advantage
