The 2018 National Club Championship winners have finished 11th after beating Botswana Police in straight sets 15-25, 21-25, 23-25.
UCU Doves dominated the first set and did just enough to deny the Botswana side any chance.
The Mukono based side announced their arrival at the big stage with a straight sets win over Gisagara followed another straight sets win over
Gendarmarie but could not get past El Etihad and Shouha completing the group phase with a 2-2 record.
