Uganda Cup 2019 | Semifinals

  • Kyetume Vs Proline – Nakisunga Ssaza Play ground
  • Bright Stars Vs Express– Champions Stadium, Mwerewe

Semifinals (1st Leg): 24th – 28th April

Semifinals (2nd Leg): 5th – 9th May

Finals: 25th May – Masaka Recreational Ground

The 2019 Uganda Cup semifinals will be played between April 24th and May 9th.

Kyetume hosts Proline at Nakisunga Ssaza playground in the first leg of one semifinal while Bright Stars will play host to Express in the opening leg of the other.

The first legs will be played between the dates 24th – 28th April home and the return legs will come in May, between 5th and 9th.

Express Football Club is the remaining club among the four standing sides at the semifinals of the Uganda Cup that has ever won the championship.

The Red Eagles are the joint record winners of this oldest knock out tournament alongside KCCA.

Express has previously triumphed on the podium in 1985, 1991,1992, 1994, 1995, 1997, 2001, 2002/03, 2006 and lately 2006/07.

Former Uganda Cup winners Charles Namakola (Gangama United) and Sam Timbe (Coffee United) conducted the draws also supervised by the FUFA Competitions Director, Aisha Nalule.

This is a fair draw. We are set to play and triumph although our priority this season is on the FUFA Big League.
