Kirinya Jinja S.S jumped two places to 7th on the log with a home 2-0 win against hapless Paidha Black Angels at the Mighty Arena on Tuesday.

After a goal-less first half, the game came to life when Dan Ssewava scored the opener, 64 minutes into the game.

Midfielder Jeromy Kirya added the second with 13 minutes to play to crown the day.

There was commotion when the home side scored a goal which was disallowed by the day’s referee Emmanuel Kiweewa for an off-side.

Ssewava was booked in the 88th minute as well as Paidha Black Angels’s Sula Ssekamwa and Adam Charlie.

Kirinya-Jinja S.S improved to 7th with 39 points, same as Tooro United who host Mbarara City on Easter eve.

Paidha Black Angels suffered their 19th loss in as many as 27 games, remaining bottom on the 16 team table standings.

Ssewava was named the man of the match.
