- 4 – Kawanda S.S (2 Medals – 2 Silvers)
- 5 – Mbogo College (1 Medal – 1 Gold)
The 2019 Uganda Muslim Education Association (UMEA) Games have successfully climaxed at Kasawo Islamic Secondary School on Easter Monday.
Mbogo Mixed Secondary School won the overall title after clinching two gold medals and one bronze in the four day’s championship.
The winning school earned gold medals in Table Tennis (Girls) and Volleyball (boys) as well as bronze in football (boys).



Addressing the guests and participating schools at the closing ceremony of the games, Hajji Abubaker Kakembo, the General Secretary of UMEA, lauded all the participating schools, partners and sponsors.
In the same vein, Hajji Kakembo appealed to the muslim funded schools to uphold to the true spirit of UMEA.

The chairperson of the UMEA games organizing committee Hajji Twahil Kiteezala was full of praise of the host school (Kasawo Islamic SS), all the schools that graced the games, main sponsors Tropical Bank, partners as Crown Beverages Limited, Uganda Police and the Kasawo Community for the successful games held.

Meanwhile, Kawanda S.S was announced as the 2020 hosts.
