Wednesday Result: Kansai Plascon 6-1 Kireka United
Kansai Plascon Football Club enlightened their chances of a direct promotion slot to the Uganda Premier League with an overwhelming 6-1 performance and result over Kireka United at the Mukono Bishops S.S play ground on Wednesday.
Robert Ssentongo Junior led the massacre with a hat-trick to his name.
The three goals propelled him to 9 in the season, four shy of the top scorer, Proline’s Ivan Bogere.
Nasser Muzamir, Allan Oryek and burly forward Henry Kitegenyi added the other goals on the red letter evening.
Kansai Plascon FC now has 37 points, same as Proline in the Rwenzori group but the former has played one game more.
Proline maintains the lead with a superior goal difference.
Kireka United has now played 18 matches, remaining on 21 points, with eminent danger of being relegated unless otherwise.
