The Futsal Super League hits the final bend with only six games to the climax of the 2018-19 season.

The battle for the league title is largely between Yeak Kabowa and Park with only four points separating the two teams.

The target for both leaders Yeak Kabowa (48 points) and second-placed Park (44 points) ahead of matchday 21 will be to maintain their chase for the league.

Yeak Kabowa fresh from outwitting Equator 12-5 take on Typhoon and coach Ayub Balyejjusa is optimistic for maximum points.

“The games are tighter now and you do not want to lose any points. Our target is to get all three points today,” he said.

Yeak Kabowa boasts of the best scoring rate with 109 goals registered in the twenty games played. The prolific duo of Enock Ssebagala and Shafik Avemah have scored a total of 69 goals with the former leading the scoring charts on 36 goals.

Second-placed Park also wants to keep within chasing distance of leaders and want to remain focused according to skipper Idd Babu.

“We are still in contention for the title and we can only keep the dream by winning games.”

Last week, Park edged defending champions Dream 4-3 in a thrilling encounter but will now shift focus to Nomad who they face on Thursday.

In the other games, third-placed Parakeets take on Mengo City, bottom-placed Yap Stars play Elephants while struggling Kabowa United will face Bajim.

Aidenal who threw away a 3-1 halftime lead to lose 8-4 to Bajim return to action against Crown while Dream and Equator face off in a battle of wounded teams.
