JKL Lady Dolphins will return to National Basketball League action on Friday against A1 Challenge.

The Lady Dolphins (2-0), arguably the best team in the country, is looking to complete the season unscratched and A1 is not a side that would trouble the defending champions.

However, they could have to do without as many as six players. Rita Imanishimwe and Stella Oyera will not be part of the game due to family commitment and lack of fitness respectively.

Jamila Nansikombi, Evelyn Nakiyinji, Hope Akello and Hope Gimono are also doubtful for the game as they were listed on Ndejje University’s 3×3 team for a trip to Kenya. They, however, could feature in the game if Ndejje’s trip is not confirmed.

JKL Lady Dolphins are still a strong side even without the six as the rest of the players as Flavia Oketcho, Angella Namirimu, Jane Asinde, Muhiyimina Namuwaya, Brenda Nakitende, Peace Nakirijja and Moreen Atulinda can take on A1.

A1 Challenge (1-1) will look to the experience of Vickie Ntale and Ruth Kirungi for leadership while Susan Amito, Ruth Atuheire and probably Elizabeth Akol could be the players to light up the scoreboard for the former champions.
