
Defender Misi Katende has agreed the initial terms with Zambia’s Premier League Club, Mufulira Wanderers.
According to his agent, Simon Wasswa, the player who has been a free agent agreed with the management of the club for a possible transfer.
Misi Katende is now with the club (Mufulira Wanderers Football Club) where he has been for now two weeks. The technical team was impressed with his abilities and they have decided to give him a contract

Katende, a former Sports Club Villa and Soana (now Tooro United) player traveled to Zambia a fort night ago and was subjected to trials where he played a series of training sessions and two friendly matches.
He is expected to be handed a three year employment contract for the upcoming season.
Christened as the ‘Mighty Abena Milambo’, Mufulira Wanderers is a popular club that has produced some of the country’s greatest players.
They are Zambia’s arguably most successful football club, based in the Copperbelt town of Mufulira that has won over 50 trophies since their inception in 1953 with 9 Zambia Uganda Premier League honours, 10 Zambian cup titles, 9 Zambian Challenge cups, 8 Unity cups and 6 Charity Shields.
Katende will join other Ugandans in Zambia as Fahad Bayo (Buildcon) as well as goalkeepers Benjamin Ochan and Mathias Kigonya who play their trade with Kabwe Warriors and Forest Rangers respectively.
