Olila High School failed to honour their quarterfinal fixture against Lady Doves that was slated for Wednesday.

The Soroti based side was supposed to travel to Katusabe stadium in Masindi but by the time the game was supposed to kickoff, Olila was nowhere to be seen.

Godfrey Nsigwire the Lady Doves PRO confirmed to this website that they waited for the visitors but all in vain.

“We did not get any information from them (Olila) but by the time of the game, they were not here.”

When contacted, Olila High School owner Deogratious Olila stated that he asked FUFA to postpone the game to another date and their request was turned.

“We already communicated to FUFA that we are not able to travel. We requested a postponement which they refused. They should have communicated this,” he said.

It should be noted that Olila played two games in Kampala over the weekend that’s is against Isra Soccer Academy on Saturday and Makerere University on Sunday.

Lady Doves is likely to earn a walkover and join Makerere University and She Corporate who already qualified for the semifinals.

The other quarterfinal fixture between Echoes High School and Tooro Queens will be played on a later date.
