- Power 62-92 Warriors

Warriors turned the battle of familiar foes into a miss match as they obliterated Power 92-62 on Friday night at YMCA.
Chris Omanye pulled up for a mid-ramge jumper and Jonathan Kambala connected from deep as Warriors assumed an early 5-0 lead.
However, Geoffrey Soro hit back-to-back jumpers and Syrus Kiviiri added another to put Power up 6-5.
Opio then sparked a 12-0 run with another 3-pointer as Warriors assumed control of the game in the opening ten minutes at end of which led 30-16.
The dominant first quarter at both ends set the tone for the rest of the game for the 2012 champions. They limited Power to just 3 points in the second quarter, taking a huge 26-point lead to the long break.
Opio and Omanye opened the third quarter with lay-ups and the lead was up to 30. Power pressed Warriors for the large part of the frame but could only cut the lead down to 20 but Michael Bazangu knocked down a 3-ball that gave Warriors a 23-point lead going into the final quarter.
The victors started the fourth quarter with an 8-0 run and the lead ballooned to 30 again. All was nothing but done.
Opio netted an efficient game-high 20 points to pace Warriors (4-0), Bazangu had 17 while Omanye and Kambala contributed 13 and 12 points respectively.
Soro scored team-high 14 points for Power (1-3) and Kiviiri the only other player to score in double-figures contributed 10 points.
Power returns to action on Sunday, May 5 against Our Savior while Warriors face champions City Oilers on Friday, May 10.
