  • Ntinda United (11 Points)

All the eight clubs that have been relegated from the FUFA Big League to the respective regional leagues are now known.

From Elgon group; Nebbi Central (11 points), Entebbe (16), Amuka Bright Stars (21) and Jinja Municipal Council (JMC) Hippos (21) have all been relegated.

Bumate United (1 point), Ntinda United (11 points), Kira United (12 points) and Kireka United (21 points) were relegated from the Rwenzori group.

Amuka Bright Stars and Jinja Municipal Council Hippos’ relegation fate was confirmed in the final match day.

The Lira based side needed to win away against Kataka at the CRO San Siro Stadium in Mbale, but, only managed a point during the one all stalemate.

Daniel Okiror beat goalkeeper Franco Oringa to give Kataka the half time lead.

With 10 minutes left on the clock, Patience Okori brought the game level with Amuka Bright Stars’ equalizer.

Kataka was clumsy on the day and would have doubled the scores had they been clinical on the day.

Substitute Nasur Nandala hit the woodwork and Daniel Mugwanya missed from close range.

Directly Promoted Clubs:

Wakiso Giants and Proline are the two directly promoted clubs from the Rwenzori and Elgon groups respectively.

Wakiso Giants were the first club to be confirmed followed by Proline who won 2-0 away to Kabale Sharp at the Kabale Municipal Stadium on the final day of regular season.

Joseph Mandela and Bright Anukani scored the two goals for Proline.

Play-offs:

There are four clubs that make the grade to the play-offs. Kyetume and UPDF qualify from the Elgon group as Kansai Plascon and Dove qualify from the Rwenzori group.
