
Simon Peter Mugerwa, the head coach for Buddo Secondary School has acknowledged that the knock out stage remains the most important as well as delicate level of the Copa coca cola football championship.
Mugerwa, also the assistant coach at Sports Club Villa was speaking ahead of the knock out round kick off for the championship which kicks off on Wednesday
The group stages are long done. Now all the energy and attention is at the knock outs. This (knock out level) is the most important level of the competition. We shall derive all our energies at this stage since we eye the quarter-finals, semis and eventually the finals in our title defence. The focus remains qualification for East African championship in Arusha, Tanzania

Buddo has already tasted defeat in the tournament having lost 1-0 to Kibuli in the final group stage match played at Kakindu Stadium.
Both Kibuli and Buddo progressed from the group with 15 points although the latter had a superior goal difference.

Buddo SS are the tournament defending champions having triumphed in Mbarara last year after a 1-0 win over Blessed Sacrament Kimanya.
The reigning champions will face Kampala representatives, Uganda Martyrs High School, Rubaga in the first of the two round of 16 matches at the Mighty Arena, Jinja S.S at 9 AM.
The second match which will be played concurrently at the same time is Masaka SS against Bulo Parents at the Kakindu Stadium.

- Jinja S.S Vs St Julian, Gayaza – Kakindu Stadiu
- Jinja Progressive Academy Vs Kibuli – Mighty Arena, Jinja SS
