The battle to decide who wins the 2018/19 Fufa Big League comes to end on Saturday afternoon when Wakiso Giants face off against Proline at Lugogo.
The highly anticipated clash will see either going for the top gong despite already achieving the main target – promotion to the Uganda Premier League.
Wakiso Giants assistant coach Andy Lule admits it’s a game they take seriously as they seek to end the campaign on a high.
“It’s an important game for us,” he told Kawowo Sports. “Although our main target of promotion was achieved, we would love to crown the season with a trophy,” he added.
Shafik Bisaso, the man in charge of Proline also doesn’t shy away from the fact his side wants to lift the trophy.
Team News: Goalkeeper Yasin Mugabi is back from injury for Wakiso Giants but Norman Ogik (injured) is out while Yasin Mugume is doubtful.
Proline could be without defender Mustafa Mujjuzi and midfielder Bright Anukani if they are kept with the national teams although that remains a top secret at the club.
The only meeting between the two sides was in the Phillip Omondi Invitational tournament at Lugogo which The Purple Sharks won 2-1 in August last year.
