The Uganda Cranes team at the Park Rotana Hotel in Abu Dhabi is booming and vibrant.
Of the summoned 28 players, only two remain to join the team.
Ethiopian based goalkeeper Robert Odongkara who features at Adama City Football Club and Ostersunds’ defender Ronald Brian Ddungu Mukiibi were the latest players to fly in to Abu Dhabi.
The duo were received on Wednesday afternoon and are expected to take part in the early morning training on Thursday.
Mukiibi is based in Sweden where he plays in the main top flight league and joins two other Swedish based players Abdu Lumala and Alexis Bbakka.
Odongkara’s arrival brings the number of goalkeepers in the camp to three alongside first choice goalkeeper and captain Denis Onyango as well as Jamal Salim Magoola.
Earlier, three players Allan Kateregga, Nico Wakiro Wadada, and Emmanuel Arnold Okwi joined the camp on Eid day.
