Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has named the referees that will take charge of the FUFA Women’s Cup final slated for Saturday.

Lady Doves and Makerere University will be in this year’s final at StarTimes stadium, Lugogo.

Diana Murungi one of the budding female referees in the country has been appointed the centre referee.

She will work alongside Catherine Cynthia Nagaddya and Lydia Nantabo Wanyama as the first and second assistants respectively.

Florence Ayaro will be the fourth official for the game while Margaret Kubingi will be referees accessor.

Both Makerere University and Lady Doves will be playing in the FUFA Women’s Cup final for the first time.

To reach the final, Makerere University outwitted Echoes High School from Soroti District 5-0 in the semifinals.

On the other hand, Masindi based Lady Doves knocked out She Corporate winning the game 4-3 on penalties after normal time had ended in a two all draw.
