The Uganda Cranes team that was at the 2019 COSAFA Championship in Durban, South Africa returned home on Thursday afternoon.
Interestingly, four of the players on the 20 man squad rank aloft on the wish list of many clubs in South Africa.
The players who are a hot subject of discussion are striker Daniel Sserunkuma, goalkeeper Charles Lukwago, midfielder Nicholas Kasozi, and utility defender John Revita.

Apparently, all these four players are still contracted with their respective clubs in the Uganda Premier League.
Revita’s representative Simon Musoke has acknowledged the interest of clubs for his client and urges the formal means (discussions).
Way before the team (Uganda Cranes) left for the COSAFA tournament, we had bids from a number of clubs including the parent club Express, in Kenya and even in South Africa. Even after the COSAFA tournament, we got fresh offers from other clubs

Revita’s contract at Express will expire in a few months time whilst Kasozi and goalie Lukwago still have long term contracts with KCCA.

Diligent striker Sserunkuma, who had a decent show at COSAFA 2019 is also still contracted at Vipers Sports Club.
The talks between the clubs willing to take upon these players and their current employers will definitely decide the final destiny of the players in question.

The interested PSL clubs are Maritzburg, Stellenbosch, Cape Town City and Lamontville Golden Arrows F.C.
