For the second year running, footballer Brian “Super man” Umony through the Brian Umony Foundation successfully held a community charity event dubbed the “Bukoto Give back”.
Some of the activities involved in this charity drive included cleaning of a health center, donation of cleaning liquid, tools, mamma kits and conducted a football clinic to help young aspiring stars of the tomorow-years get inspired.
Umony was accompanied by fellow national team players as AS Vita’s Savio Kabugo, AFC Leopards’ Baker Lukooya, Police’s Ivan Bukenya and Brian Majwega of Maroons Football Club as he cleaned up Bukoto health center, donated mamma kits to expectant mothers and conducted a football clinic to the youngsters.

Last year, Umony conducted the same execrise through the “Naguru Give Back”, sharing with youth in Kamwokya.
Later, he spread wings to Kamwokya and Jinja where he conducted football clinics as well as donating kits to the different youth groups.
This year’s events conceded with the 2019 Day of the African Child which was commemorated along the theme: “Humanitarian Action in Africa: Children’s Rights First”

For starters, Umony kick started his career at Nakawa United, then crossed to Naguru Avis Football team, before he featured prominently at Kyambogo University and later poached by KCCA Football Club.
He joined South Africa’s Super Sport United, University of Pretoria, Port Land Timbers (USA),Becamex Binh Duong (Vietnam), Azam (Tanzania), St George (Ethiopia), Gokulam Kerala (India) and lately Express,
For the national team, Uganda Cranes, Umony has 36 caps, scoring 12 goals.
