Two newly promoted Uganda Premier League entities Malaba Youth Development Association (MYDA) and the Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF) lock horns at the King George IV Memorial Stadium in Tororo on Friday, March 12, 2021.
This will be match day 14 of the top tier league in the country.
Coming to this game, these two clubs are at completely different wavelengths.
UPDF had a stellar start into the season before they slipped with three consecutive losses as they now lie 6th with 21 points after 7 wins and 6 losses in 13 matches.
On the other hand, MYDA has virtually struggled to find a footing in the league as they have succumbed to as many as 10 losses, just 3 draws that account for their only 3 points in the league thus far.

Making amends:
Under head coach Abdul Samadu Musafiri, MYDA seeks to make quick amends and register for their first victory of the season.
At home and away, MYDA has struggled to register formidable results and will be expected to play their hearts out against the army side as they look for the first win in as many games.
MYDA top scorer Ibrahim Nsiimbe with 6 goals, Moses Batali, Lebanse national Ahmed Saleh Hussein, Eric Mutebi, Norman Ojik, Solomon Babyesiza, Paul Musamali, goalkeepers Isaac Osikol or Andrew Ssekandi, Faisal Muledhu, Peter Musoke, Mark Bassi the are some of key players for the home team.
If fielded Fred Okot will face UPDF, his former club that released him in January under unclear circumstances.
The army side is coached by former Uganda Cranes left winger Kefa Kisala.

In Yusuf Wasswa or Eric Kibowa, UPDF who are fresh from out-smarting Express 1-0 at Bombo have two trustworthy goalkeepers.
Others players at their disposal include; Seif Batte, Ezikiel Katende,Simon Monie Mbaziira, Joseph Bright Vuni, Isa Mubiru, Alex Kitata, Brian Kayanja, Brian Kalumba, Ibrahim Wamannah, Davis Kasirye, Hassan Hussein Zzinda, Dickens Okwir among others.
