Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF) subjected Malaba Youth Development Association (MYDA) to yet another defeat, falling 3-0 at the King George IV Memorial Stadium in Tororo.
Forwards Robert Eseru, Brian Kalumba and Davis Kasirye for visiting UPDF.
Eseru and Kalumba’s goals came in the opening stanza.
Eseru’s goal arrived after 26 minutes with Kalumba’s header coming 9 minutes later.
The visitors led 2-0 by the mandatory half time break.
UPDF made their opening change in the 53rd minute when Arafat Kakonge paved way for left winger Ezikiel Katende.
Kasirye made it three on 61 minutes following a solo effort.
This is the 8th victory for UPDF in the season which propelled them to 6th on the 16 team log standings.
MYDA remains win-less in 14 matches since being promoted to the top tier league as they are rooted on the bottom of the table with just 3 points.
Meanwhile, KCCA and Police shared the spoils 1-all at the MTN Omondi Stadium during the Lugogo derby.
Muwadda Mawejje gave Police the lead in the first half before Sadat Anaku’s equalizer in the subsequent half.
