Back in the days, Entebbe Municipality had a strong and sound representation in the country’s elite football circles.
From Airlines Football Club, State House, Manhatten, Entebbe Works, Entebbe Health, Presidential Protection Unit (PPU), Club 2000, Victoria FC to the latest cluster of clubs as Entebbe Red Cross, Entebbe United, Entebbe Young, Masavu, Entebbe FC, Entebbe Leopards, Viva La Vie and others, there was justification for the fast rising pool of talents.
With the extinction of several of these clubs due to poor management, limited financial resources, inadequate playing facilities, sheer lack of courage to the footballers and the like, football in Entebbe Municipality went down the drain with virtually talented crop of players thrown to the hungry dogs to feast.

Since the dark day (25th May 2018) upon the relegation of Entebbe Football Club (formerly Masavu) from the Uganda Premier League in the 2017/18 season, Entebbe Municipality has struggled to find a footing for a formidable team.
Luke Buule, a filthy rich businessman based in the fishing village of Kiggungu desires to change the tiding and rewrite a fresh script.

Buule is the founder of Entebbe Wolves Football Club with a vivid motto; “We are the best”.
Entebbe Wolves FC is a newbie on the sporting front of Entebbe and has virtually started from scratch, owing its founding history in the love month of February 2021.
To stamp home Entebbe Wolves’ mission and vision is the club’s rich logo that has a collection of items; a two stars, a shield, two spears, drum, fish and a lion all seated on a lake boundary and platform.
The founder boldly shares the vision, goals and objectives for the club as well as the ideology behind their richly assembled emblem.
Entebbe Wolves Football Club was founded with the objective of restoring the football legacy and glory of Entebbe Municipality. We eye being on the top (in the Uganda Premier League). About the logo, we are a club with the fishing background and this explains the water and fish. The drum showcases a cultural belonging, with the shield and arrows portraying defence as well as offense. The Lion shows how hungry we are for success.

Entebbe Wolves FC will play in the Wakiso District fourth division league under head coach Jackson Musoni, a retired defender who previously served under Manhatten, Entebbe Works and Gulu FC.

Entebbe Wolves FC has already embarked on preparations for the upcoming season with a series of build-up matches.

The club will host their home matches at the regreened Kiggungu play-ground, a fortress where airplanes ascend after completion of take over on the run-way at Entebbe International Airport.
The Kiggungu play ground was one of the re-greened sports facilities in Entebbe Municipalities during the infamous COVID-19 lockdown period (others were Kiwafu, Works and Nakiwogo playgrounds).
The club will primarily use players born with Entebbe Municipality as well as those elsewhere.
