Joshua Engwau and Micheal Amolo delivered a pair of tries each as Pirates condemned Impis to a 44-03 loss at King’s Park in Bweyogerere.
The duo stood out with Ivan Magomu, Isaac Rujumba and Conrad Wanyama completing the rout in the sun-drenched and windy fairly green field.
Pirates’ expression off the tee was uninspiring just like Impis save for their only 3 points that were kicked through by Robert Ssentongo.
William Nkore converted Wanyama’s try deep in second half after the former having easily run through for a try just about a metre and a half adjacent to the right upright.
Pirates strength manifested in the right wing with Amolo, Rujumba, Engwau all comfortably finding gaps in the same avenue for the big score.
A late penalty try in favour of the home side compounded misery to visiting Impis when an infringement was made during a race up to the white chalk late on.
