The Uganda Cranes national team will fly to Malawi for their final AFCON 2021 qualifier on a charter flight.

FUFA through their communications director Ahmed Hussein confirmed the travel plans for the 29th March match.

“The team will fly out on 28th March 2021 aboard Uganda Airlines Bombardier,” Hussein said via the Federation’s website.

“It is important for the National Team to travel with a lot of comfort during the current COVID-19 times when you need the entire team to move together for better preparations,” he added.

Uganda Cranes used Uganda Airlines for their opening fixture against Malawi as they picked a valuable point off the West African Giants in Ouagadougou.

They will make the trip after settling for a goalless draw with Burkina Faso who qualified with one game to spare on Wednesday.
