Police and Kyetume face off in the return leg of the 2020-21 Uganda Premier League during match day 16 at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru on Saturday, 3rd April 2021.

The first round encounter between the two sides ended 3-1 in favour of the cops, 2005 league winners.

Brian Muruli Mayanja and Johnson Odongo were on target for Police during the first round as Baker Buyala netted the consolation in a match that was played over a slippery surface following a heavy rain storm.

This match comes at an opportune timing when the two teams had taken the much needed breather after a grueling first round.

For Kyetume head coach Alex Isabirye, who recently acquired a new assistant Juma Ssekiziyivu, they will be seeking for the first win since replacing Charles Livingstone Mbabazi.

Currently stationed in the murky relegation waters, every match for Kyetume at this stage is equated to a cup finale.

Christened as the Slaughters, Kyetume has managed just 12 points from 15 matches, their worst start since being promoted to the top tier division.

On the other hand, Police is 6th on the log with 25 points (from 15 matches) with maximum points aimed at dislodging SC Villa from the 5th place.

Police welcomes back head coach Abdallah Mubiru who handled the Uganda Cranes in two AFCON 2021 qualifiers away at home against Burkina Faso and away to Malawi.

Mubiru will rely on his sharp forward line that has Brian Muluuli Mayanja (8 goals), Ben Ocen (6), Johnson Odongo (5), Henry Kisekka (1) and Ruben Kimera.

Surprisingly, defender Hassan Muhammod has four goals to his name on a team that boosts of a great midfield with the likes of Tonny Mawejje, Frank “Zagga” Tumwesigye and Yusuf Ssozi.

Any of the goalkeeping duo of Derrick Ochan and Tom Ikara is a good pick in between the goal posts.

Meanwhile, the other game on the same day will see Express visited by Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) at the Betway Mutesa II Wankulukuku Stadium.
