Police maintained their perfect run against Kyetume FC with a comprehensive 3-0 victory at the Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru on Saturday.

Muhamood Hassan and substitutes Ben Ocen and Brian Mayanja Mululi scored a goal each to earn the Cops a fourth straight win over the Slaughters.

Hassan put the visitors in the lead after eleven minutes capitalizing on poor clearance by the hosts’ defence and the slim lead was taken into the half time break.

Abdallah Mubiru made a triple change in the second half introducing the experienced of trio of Herman Wasswa, Ben Ocen and Mululi and they literally combined to put the hosts to the sword.

Wasswa with his first touch assisted Ocen to score the Cops’ second with his first touch as well in the 64th minute and the later turned provider to Mululi who sealed victory with his ninth goal of the campaign in the 86th minute.

The victory lifts Police to 5th position on the log with 28 points while Kyetume stay languishing in the red zone with 12 points from sixteen games.

Up next for either is the Uganda Cup where Police face Fufa Big League side Calvary while Kyetume take on red hot Express FC on home and away basis.
